Why is harassment so rife? Why does racism run amok on their platforms? Why do so many women feel unsafe on them? Why are they so slow to deal with their enabling of ethnic killing?

There are a thousand explanations. But surely one is that THESE ARE VERY, VERY LIMITED DUDES.

This is also very obvious if you've met them socially. They're not cruel or swaggering so much as they are...limited. A lot of the most powerful Valley guys are just limited men.

Very good at one or two things. Off-the-charts bad at understanding human society.

I've listened in on their conversations about, "What if we replaced democracy with this code I wrote?"

This isn't evil. It's honestly just very limited. They're limited at understanding the world the way I'm limited at understanding tech.

But I know that, and they don't.
