@Dr_PhilippaW's speech in the Commons just now is incredibly important - the Public Interest Disclosures (Protection) Bill has the potential to be game-changing in both the protection of whistleblowers and embedding cultural revolution in the NHS which promotes patient safety.

The likes of @drcmday, @NHSwhistleblowr and @edwin1432 and countless others stand as examples of the inadequacy of current arrangements as people whose lives have been turned upside down due to a genuine desire to protect their patients and the wider public.

@MaryRobinson01's endorsement of the Bill is very welcome, and her work in the APPG for whistleblowing should be recognised along with other members. @EveryDoctorUK wholly and unreservedly supports the Bill as written and presented today.
