Wild to see filmmakers conflate not caring about human lives with wanting to see a movie. Hope they keep that same energy when they get the budget for their next project.

If weâre going to police media and budgets to that degree then the answer seems to be: we should just not make or consume any media designed for entertainment.

And straight up, Iâd take this stance about any filmmaker, even if I didnât like their work, because at the end of the day I respect artistic visions and filmmaking and am not conflating the imaginary money of a studio with the imaginary money of a government.
