Now @Abigndonhealth have a shiny new document on their website - made to look like a scientific white paper, but is just clever marketing.

https://www.abingdonhealth.com/cs-resources/abc-19-rapid-test-white-paper/

You have to register to get the paper – so chance to be creative with your name to send them a message.

The document repeats results from the flawed study, even less detail and no mention of limitations. Not science at all.

(the study only included people who tested positive for antbodies on both the Roche and Euroimmun antibody tests, or negative on both)

And there is no mention anymore of the independent validation studies which they know are ongoing, previously they have mentioned them, now they are absent.

Also no mention of being suitable / proposed for home use anymore. Has the @MHRAgovuk not given approval?

Is this preparation for an imminent Government announcement?

Seems strange to produce this document now without waiting for the results of the independent studies, unless...

Are Boris and Matt about to tell us porky pies about how well the tests they’ve backed work again?

And @DHSCgovuk @PHE_uk where are the findings of the PHE study? And what do they say?

Seriously hope that this isn’t an instance of @DHSCgovuk suppression of unwanted news.
