So, watching this #ToryLanez crap play out, it all comes down to one word: Obfuscation.

Obfuscation is when you want to LOOK like you're taking accountability but can't, so you address a bunch of unrelated stuff that nobody asked for.

Let's Explore:
What the people wanted to know: Tory, did you shoot Meg and if so why?

What we got:

An album: nobody asked for that.

Reveals that Tory and Meg were in a secret relationship: Cute. Nobody asked for this. We already knew. It doesn't answer the central question
Dissing Black Women who didn't side with you: We get it, you're mad. But nobody asked for this.

Upping the White Woman involved: Gross. And nobody asked for this. This is only here to galvanize the n*ggas who will rush to defend Kylie Jenner at a moment's notice.
Responding to the charge with distractions: This is the big one. Where Tory would like you to think he's taking on the 'Big Topic'. But he's not. Asking, "If you got shot how it hit no bones or tendons?" and, "if your back was turned, how you know it was me?" are NOT denials.
Tory is essentially saying, "Well, if you got shot how come you not more badly hurt? And how you know it was me anyway?" when he was the only person in the car with a gun is gaslighting. If you didn't do it, say you didn't do it. Offer your version of events. Tory talks AROUND it
Continued romantic appeals: So Tory is "denying" that he shot Meg and is implying she's a liar and that her team is setting him up. But also, he still loves Meg and still wants to be with her (nervermind that he also admits to crushing on Kylie on the same tape). Ok...
Conclusion, true, only three people were in that car who TRULY knows what happened. But that Tory is employing EVERY n*gga trick in the book to swerve accountability don't sit right. It's gaslighting, and y'all fallin for it.

Couldn't be me.
