my tips for managing anxiety !!!
1. make sure not to push down your feelings. if you’re feeling anxious tell someone! it really helps to get the feeling away even if for a short time.
2. breathe.

when i’m having an anxiety attack i start breathing heavily. if this is the case with you please sit there and breathe in, hold for a few seconds and breathe out. i promise it makes a difference.
3. call a friend

to me, having someone i can rely on and trust on the line when i’m anxious really helps. even the sound of their voice really helps me.
4. use a stress ball or putty.

i’m not sure if this is the case with everyone but for me when i get anxious i get really jittery and energetic. so having something i can fiddle with using my hands really helps calm me down.
5. exercise.

leading on from my last point, it really helps to go for a run or something to destress. if i don’t get the energy out it usually results in more anxiety and frustration.
6. do something you enjoy.

reading a book,singing and listening to music help me be less anxious as those are things i love doing. find something you’re passionate about and just get lost in it. it’s not a permanent solution but it helps me forget about what i’m thinking.
7. watch some channie’s room or a vlive from your emotional support kpop boy !!

for me, when i’m anxious or struggling i always watch kevin’s vlog from vancouver. it makes me really happy to see him wondering around his home happily. he really calms me down.
8. diffuse some essential oils.

the smell of lavender really calms me down so if you have a diffuser make sure to try ! it really helps !
