Unlike these we were near the front of the queue when seeking a bailout - and we (meaning #beetroot) asked for a meaningless cap instead of cross-sector cooperation.

We could have coordinated tuition in locations close to students' households. We could have work with communities

Instead, university leaders forced everyone back into the failed marketised model everyone knows was crumbling at the seams.

Sorry, mate, Humpty Dumpty ain't coming back together again.

And, shame on you for making students take the brunt of your failures.
