Okay moving away from frenchie, annie/hughie/billy this episode was IMMACULATE. i never thought of this ot3 but now i love it to death. Please the boys showmakers....make the polyam canon 
The annie/billy tension this ep...like, constant butting of heads, the ways she said she didnt want his approval, the little vigil on hughies bedside when they went over all the dumb stuff he does and how hes too good for them even then...like, this is blatant. This is shipbait.
When annie cauterizes his wound and hughie pushes his face up into billys shoulder as they hold him steady...i died. I will screenshot it and then tattoo that shot on my face, i love it so much.
I actually like that theyve detracted the romance because it was getting whinyyyy, pulling away from the shows great superhero killing mystery premise. And also hilariously, by having annie build up friendly relationships with characters the romance is...more interesting? Wow
Who knew...that interesting romance...is built on interesting characters having interesting interactions outside of the relationship (and the context of the relationship)...getting people invested in the characters...as people...and not just props...wow...
Its my one complaint. That the hugh/annie, kimiko/frenchi, and billy/becca drama/romance focus pulled away from the interesting parts of the show and the characters. Especially kimiko and frenchi honestly. They spent a lot of s1 doing nothing together.
Letting kimiko have a character outside of frenchie, having them enter a very complicated phase, the break up of the "main" pairs for billy and hughie so they can focus on the jobs, and so annie can yknow have friends. It was a good descision for season 2.
Havent even talked about homelander and stormfront lmao...i will tho. This thread is going to be stupid and long, just how i like them.
