Speaking on the Bharat Bandh, Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala said that everyone has the right to protest in a democracy, but one should not cross the line.

A group of 14 retired IAS officers of Punjab appealed to the Centre to resolve the crisis in consultation with state governments and stakeholders, including agitating farmers. “Most of their concerns are genuine and well-founded,” said the group in a statement.

SGPC has extended support to the Punjab Bandh on September 25 and announced to keep its offices closed.
