The grand jury verdict for Breonna Taylor's killers is bullshit.

Time and time again, the US "justice" system has shown that it doesn't value Black lives & that the police are incapable of policing their own.

I feel angry and powerless.

(I needed time to process.)
Black people need a video of their death for their tragedy to be believed. Every moment that's not on camera gives their killers a benefit of the doubt.

While young white men (Roof, Rittenhouse) are afforded every excuse and opportunity to redeem themselves.
Branch Rickey, the exec who engineered Jackie Robinson's MLB debut, told him in *1946* that he had to be beyond reproach, better than perfect.

Almost 75 yrs later, that's still the bar.
Apparently, Black people need to be like Christian Cooper, the Hardvard-educated, soft-spoken birdwatcher, for "the general American public" to be outraged on their behalf.

They need to be like Cooper to get a job, to get a loan, to get an apartment, for strangers to *like them*
And *we* all know it. This thread is the billionth reverberation in the echo chamber of wokeness, outside whose walls it falls on deaf years, outside whose walls "BLM" means "Marxism", outside whose walls "systemic racism" is less believable than a horoscope.
