MINNEAPOLIS: Near City Hall downtown - Crowd growing. - “These are no longer protesters."

** A main group of 30-40 (not related to the earlier protesters) are dressed in all black and have used items taken from around City Hall to form barricades in the intersection.
** People reported to be spray painting the Transit cameras.

** Several report to have started a very small fire near the intersection from dumpster scraps. Firefighters aren’t needed to respond yet at this point.

A group of about 75 now reported at 4th St. S. & Park Ave., blocking the trains at 4th St. & Chicago.

State Patrol helicopter is now overhead of downtown. There are differing reports from officers and the security network on the exact locations of the protesters, and there might be several groups.
Last update was that the main group was on the bike path headed toward Cedar-Riverside.
State Patrol chopper is providing support over the southeast portion of downtown, centered on U.S. Bank Stadium.
