Read as much as possible without the ideological borders people try to draw around revolutionary thought. Don't just read the things you agree with and bring religious zeal into spaces where it has no business. Read everything you can.
Don't play social club with revolutionary writings. Read everything you can. Study and intake all the information possible. Reading is good. Read things that clash. Read things that agree. Read all the stuff and don't limit yourself because of dogma.
The left has a problem with sectarian rigidity around reading. It exposes what people are about. Read as much as you can and find out for yourself.
“Don't read that, it's by an anarchist! Read this instead!”

Firstly, how do you know they haven't already read what you're recommending? Stop condescending people and assuming what people know or don't. People act like fundamentalists.
I have been on the left since a teen and I'm tired. Like this is is not cosplay or social club. People want liberation, this isn't theater. Get lost with that annoying ass bullshit.
The truth is people get nervous you're going to abandon their religious sectarianism. So they tell you not to read something because they feel their dogmatic politics aren't strong enough to stand on their own. That's when reading becomes risky.
We really need to be encouraging people to read as much revolutionary writing as possible in this evil country. And STILL, even in these moments when fascism is unleashing unspeakable hell, y'all still cosplaying for ideological clout.
Cultish lefty social clubs...all up in the videos, all on the TL, DANCIN. Get some real politics and take that trash elsewhere telling people what they allowed to read or not allowed to read 🤡
