I do believe in a rehabilitative model. But that model absolutely begins with accountability to your community. Acknowledging what you did, and the harm you caused. JeVa has no interest in doing those things. Until then, we owe his victims safety.

Also, even more complex: harmful people don’t harm everyone. Or even MOST people. Even when they have the opportunity. It can leave the people around them confused, lost, and even angry. It takes time for them to accept the truth.
