“Greg, how can you send FBA shipments everyday?”

Glad you asked.

Here’s a short thread.

1. I purchase the inventory months before I plan to sell.

2. I list the inventory through @InventoryLab.

3. When I list it, I can see any type of prep I need to do to the item.
4. When I hit submit, I DO NOT create a shipment. I deselect that option. That allows inventory lab to simply send the product feed to seller central.

5. I prep accordingly. This means labeling for all toys and in some cases polybagging and/or bubble wrap.
6. I box all of one SKU together. I am not mixing skus in boxes. Ideally you want to create boxes of the same number of items. Makes life easier and you have the option to send them as individual products or case packed.

7. I record all the box contents and weights in excel.
8. I watch keepa for my items to know when to send in.

9. I decide to send in products and simply list in inventory lab. Only this time I am “replenishing” the item (because the item already exist in my inventory and IL already has recorded my cost, date, sku, etc)
10. Create shipment. Enter box contents and weights saved from excel. Print labels, drive to storage facility, slap labels on. Done.

This process has allowed me to send close to 20 shipments since my son was born. All because my items are FBA ready whenever I decide. 🧸🤙
