We need to extend the Census deadline to be sure everyone is counted. Each uncounted person will cost NH $2700, and there are 20,000 uncounted houses in the state. But up here in the North Country, it feels like we're done – this is my first day with no new cases to enumerate.

This allowed me to sleep in, work on finishing my screen porch (ignoring all the student essays I have to read), and now sit on the porch and watch the sun go down. I'll miss the $20/h plus mileage, and the job was pretty fun; but I'm good with being done.

BTW, everything in this thread is connected – because I worked my ass off for the census in the spring and the last 2 months (plus an unlooked for, generous gift from my aunt) I'm able to pay the $7K+ it's costing me to build the porch. So grateful.
