These are four tracks that I absolutely love but didn’t crack the top 10! Even though they didn’t make it, they’re all phenomenal in their own ways

#10: In My Room

Everything about this track is amazing, the vocals, the lyrics, and especially the production! Frank drops many braggadocios bars flexing his jewelry and excessive spending. At the end, Frank references a libertine encounter with a lover

#9: Nights

What is there to say about Nights that hasn’t already been said. Some of the best production of the decade, Frank’s poetic lyrics referencing a past relationship and experiences in Houston, and a vibe that’s transcends you into another world

#8: Chanel

While most listeners can pick up that the theme of this song is bisexuality, that’s not quite what makes it amazing for me. Frank’s vocal performance on this track is unmatched, one of his best. Frank hits every note with ease

#7: Pink Matter

This piece is a meditation on the the female desire, anatomy, and fantasy. Frank addresses the universe, asking many questions about women, and if he’s significant in the scheme of it all. Andre speaks out against gender roles and prioritizes intimacy over sex

#6: Lost

This songs punchy percussion and bouncy synths make it an instant stand out on Channel Orange. Not only is the instrumental amazing, the story of a manipulative, drug trafficking boyfriend manipulating his lover is quite absorbing and gripping

#5: Biking (Feat. Jay-Z & Tyler)

Biking communicates the metaphor of, what goes around comes around. Frank, Jay, and Tyler draw on each other verses which creates unity within the track. The guitar is radiant and vibrant. Frank delivers yet another, stunning vocal performance.

#4: Swim Good

This song doesn’t quite have a definite them but what I believe it to be is, sometimes it’s easier to run away from your problems than face them, which is very interesting. The snares are dominating the track while Frank additionally delivers beautiful vocals

#3: Pretty Sweet

This song is NEVER talked about, the most experiment song on Blonde and easily the best to me. The build up, including chaotic vocals and instrumentation, are disorganized but fun. When the drum-break is introduced, it’s easily my favorite moment on the album

#2: We All Try

This track is Frank expressing many things, he expresses his moral views, like support for LGBTQ+ and being Pro-Choice. He’s conveying the messages that no matter how things are perceived, you have to believe in something. Easily my favorite Frank performance

#1: Crack Rock

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The story of a family man turned drug addict, ruining their relationships, and losing everything they love is one that’s extremely personal to me. Not to mention, the smooth, jazzy production is impeccable and precise
