Sounds to me they were fully committed to go after Flynn after Trump won and had nothing and were going to have to drop the case or manufacture evidence

All these documents were unearthed during US Atty Jensenâs review & showed that before the FBI was tasked by the Obama White House in early 2017 with re-targeting Flynn, the agency closed a previous investigation against him because there was no proof of any criminal wrongdoing.
Talk about rolling a grenade into the room, Sidney has just let them know the jig is up.
