. @bluestein & @staceyabrams: We Democrats must be about giving the people the right to choose who will lead them, and not limiting that choice before they even have a chance to vote.
. @staceyabrams is a respected leader in the movement to combat voter suppression. But on behalf of the 18 candidates in this race not hand-picked by someone in Washington or Atlanta, I have to say this sounds like candidate suppression to me.
I regret @reverendwarnock is again using race to divide Georgians ahead of this important election by attacking an anti-racism book I wrote to help us face the legacy of racism in the South. Suppressing democracy, using race to divide? Is this @GeorgiaDemocrat or @briankempga?
To #GASen voters: @reverendwarnock, @CollinsforGA, and @KLoeffler would show up to work on day 1 already owned by power brokers in Atlanta & DC. The other 18 of us are simply Georgia citizens who who know we need a Senator who will fight hard for us and ONLY us.
I& #39;m running for US Senate AS a fed-up citizen of Georgia, and FOR the fed-up citizens of Georgia. The challenges we face are huge. What Georgians of all races want is not a Black senator or a White senator etc, but a GREAT senator. That& #39;s what I hope to be for ALL of us.
That& #39;s why I’m staying in the race. Our polling shows that I’m blessed to have the support of GenZers, Millennials, young families, suburban women, Latinos & Asian-Americans. These groups are driving the change and are the voters of the future. I hear them & I will fight for them
