I'm collaborating with "Hear This Well" to launch an action campaign for the Ohio incident where the woman was assaulted by a cop because she didn't have a mask on. I'm going to ask each of you to take action today by calling several numbers. Action items are listed below..

CALL TO ACTION TODAY for the mother who was tased by a school resource officer while watching an outdoor football game in Logan, Ohio. Follow this thread for all action items and be sure to retweet. You may need to make your calls Friday or next week.

Please do not just leave a comment on this post! The woman answering the phone at the Logan Police Department is logging complaints non-stop today. Add yours to the list! Being a keyboard warrior is not going to help the situation, place your calls!

We must stand up for every American because you know darn well that you could be next. And if it's not over a mask what is it going to be?

1. Call the Logan Police Department and demand that the officer who tased this parent is terminated today. Logan Police Department  740-385-6866. This was an unlawful use of force.

If you are told that this mother was arrested for trespassing because she was on school property without a mask respond that this officer has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States and she has a right to be free in her person.

If the officer on the phone tells you she was "resisting arrest," remind them that pulling away is not resisting arrest, she was not using force against the officer. She is also allowed to resist excessive force from a police officer.

A prosecutor will not prosecute someone if their only charge is "resisting arrest" for an unlawful arrest.

2. Call the Logan Mayor's Office. A nice woman is taking messages, tell her you want an investigation and the officer terminated. 740-385-8310 (then press 2)

3. Call the Hocking County (this is not Logan County!) Prosecuting attorney Benjamin Fickel at (740) 385-5343 and leave a message calling for an investigation into the Logan Police Department officer who tased a mother for not wearing a mask at an outdoor football game.

You can also send him an email but psychological pressure comes from calls, not emails. [email protected]

4. Call the Logan-Hocking School District to lodge a complaint against Asistant Principal Adam Twiss, who stood there ordering this woman to put on a mask rather than telling the officer to stand down. (740) 385-8517, press 0, Lindsey will take your message.

5. Call the Marietta City Schools Board to complain that their president Doug Mallett (the man in the white shirt) stood by ignoring the abuse of a parent from his own district. This man is an elected public officer  entrusted with governing his district.

It was HIS JOB to stand up and do something when this started. He ignored her for at least two straight minutes while she was assulted by the Logan school's resource officer. What a worthless human being. He is that mother's elected official.

6. Contact the US Attorney's Office of Southern Ohio and demand an investigation into this Logan officer's actions. Main number: 614-469-5715

7. Fill out this contact form for the Ohio Governor and demand that he address this attack, condemn the officer, and support his termination.
