To the people who are satisfied with “by the rules, the cops did nothing wrong. The no-knock warrant was a legal procedure, they went to the address they were told to go to, they were shot at & were just returning fire” the logical next step for you is: THE SYSTEM IS BAD

It doesn’t matter that you know a cop and he’s a good guy. It doesn’t matter that you don’t know what else they were “supposed to do” in that situation. None of that matters. A woman was murdered in her own home and the official resolution is “accidents happen.”

There is no reforming this. They can change the rules and regulations around, make it seem like they’re doing something, but the police also police themselves, and are somehow MUCH more understanding of cops in these situations. The system needs to be uprooted.
