tw// anxiety & panic attacks

hi, this is a thread of affirmations you can tell yourself if you’re suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. as someone who experiences both of those things, those affirmations help me a lot!!
disclaimer: please remember that everyone experiences anxiety differently i’m just sharing what works for me and i thought that maybe it’ll help someone else. (you can save this you might need it later)
+ say every single word as if you really mean it, don’t just say words. focus hard on everything you’re saying, what they mean, and most importantly how they make you feel. then focus on that feeling.
1. i’ve survived this many times before, I have the ability to do it again.
2. my feelings are allowed to be here.
3. as i relax and slow my breathing, anxiety flows out.
4. my anxiety does NOT control me.
5. i’m in control. it’ll never control me.
6. i have the ability to cope. this is only temporary.
7. there’s no obstacle that i can’t overcome.
8. no matter how hard this situation is, i’m determined to go through this easily and rise above it.
9. when i overcome this, i’ll be so proud of myself.
10. i’m capable of remaining strong.
11. as i breathe, all body muscles relax and i let go of all my problems.
12. i’m stronger then i think i am.
13. i feel relaxed and calmer more and more everyday.
14. anxiety isn't dangerous. i’m just uncomfortable. I'll make it through this.
15. i only bring and accept healthy things into my life.
16. this will pass, i’m safe.
17. i can slow my breathing whenever I feel like.
18. i’m free from worries.
19. i’m NOT in real danger.
i also thought i should include a breathing exercise to this thread in case it’s needed!!
i’ll keep updating this thread every now and then so it can reach out to more people who might need this! remember that you’re valid, your mental health is SO important, and your strength is unbreakable! keep in mind that you’re so loved by many including me<33
