Again, Jihwa and his fear and his guilt.
Pic 1, chapter 43. The idea didn't even occur to him and he is far from believing that's the solution.
Pics 2, 3 and 4, the torment haunts him even in his sleep.
He's scared. He doesn't really want it to happen. He's being used.

He's acting out of insanity right now. Deep inside, he knows he can't gain anything from killing Nak, only SH's hate, which he doesn't want. But he still wants it to happen, just to gain peace. Not realizing he will feel even worse afterwards. So yes, I pity Jihwa.
I want him to feel better, to reconsider and change his mind, to find peace of mind and happiness. He is NOT a bad guy. He's a capricious noble who needs help and care. So that's why disliking him so much proves that people reading lack of comprehension and empathy.
I wonder why he could be the most disliked, considering all the bad characters and real villains there are in all manhwas. Not all are so complex, not all are so simple to read and yet people fail to understand him. It's very confusing. Why is he so disliked when he's in pain?
I know y'all think about the murder, which is not even likely to happen. Or the fact he ruined Nak's painting. Or he slaped his face or opened his clothes twice. I give you that. But I will sin again and compare AGAIN with another character who everyone likes and hurt Nak more
I won't name him, but you know who, beat him, abused him physically and sexually and till this day we all hope he gives Nak "love" after all of that. And nobody "hates" this character. Then why the hate towards Jihwa who has done something minimal compared to all that?
