As I wrote ten years ago now, I see robots like the flying Ring as implicating privacy in three ways. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1599189
http://1.Direct  surveillance. The new Ring device expands the capability of individuals to surveil the members of their household or place of business.
2.Increased access. This new Ring device gives Amazon even greater access to the interior of your home. This includes mapping its layout, looking out windows, and angles where you wouldn't usually place a camera.
http://3.Social  meaning. We are hardwired to react to anthropomorphic technology like robots as though they had agency. Imagine how it will feel to have this thing flying around your house.
