The freelance press arrested last night in #Louisville during the #LouisvilleProtests for #BreonnaTaylorMatters are now being released.
However, Ian of @ConcreteReports, Rob Baker, Renee White and other independent journalists are STILL BEING CHARGED.

They will have to go to court, wasting time and resources, to fight this. Time better spent covering the fight for justice.
And yet, the @LMPD let members of major media outlets go free?

And called freelancers like them, like myself, like my fellow @IWWFJU members "fakes".
This is unethical, unequal, immoral and downright unconstitutional.

We are -all- members of the press.

We do not need to belong to a billion dollar company, to be reporters.
Shame on them and shame on @louisvillemayor for creating and allowing this situation to happen.

This is Wrong.

This will not stand.

The new and fast growing community of people bringing the news live, raw, and among the people to anyone who can view Twitch or Facebook...
This will not end. We won't be intimidated into stopping this work.

Now, Ian and others will need lawyers, and likely will have to raise money.

Which is a burden for small outfits.
Yes, they really are all being charged still.

This comes from Sia at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.

#LouisvilleProtests
The way they were treated last night was thuggish, immoral and unjustified.

I provided some video to @sethdunlap who kindly posted a thread about it here: https://twitter.com/sethdunlap/status/1309072678666502145
And no word, unfortunately, on what's happening with @riotheartmedia.
