Elevating black voices, not speaking over black voices, even following the lead of black voices does not equate to not being allowed to disagree with black people. It’s infantalizing liberal identity weaponizing and furthermore

It’s essentially negating other black voices that disagree, who these white people dont view as a leader. The other point is that this absolutism easily creates an environment where the state can easily manipulate people and destroy movements

If you resist obvious attempts at dismantling movements or bad faith Actors looking to monetize off of movements you can be labeled racist by other white people, this is a diabolical and easy to activate counterinsurgency tactic with a high success rate

Community defense against invading Nazis is a all hands on deck situation and there’s a bunch of folks that have been doing this for a long time, we should listen to them. If something looks like a bad plan people should feel able to say so and have that discussion.

There’s plenty of black and brown voices in the community that think this vanport rally is a terrible decision and their voices are being muffled by out of town swoopers that don’t know the dynamics.

To me this is similar to when white people are shocked that black people can be reactionaries, black and brown people have agency and can just as easily have shitty opinions as white people, assuming otherwise is quite frankly racist af and not liberatory.
