Yeah, I am judging you.

I struggle to trust advertising professionals who put so little effort into their social media presence. Then don't have a presence at all, if you aren't going to use your abilities, knowledge and experience to stand out.

You're hurting your brand.
I got to thinking about this after seeing @cindygallop's new website https://cindygallop.com/ . It is simple, clean and you can hear her voice in the writing. It isn't normal. And it got me thinking, why are the portfolios and social media presence of advertising people so bland?
Advertising professionals should own social media. Our posts should be posting the coolest, most interesting things. This should be our house, but it isn't. Maybe we aren't as good as we think we are. Maybe the horrible work we produce for clients "is" the best we can do. Pitiful
I am not funny. So, I don't do humor. But I post and get read because I approach social media like it means something. It reflects on me as a creative. I should be able to stop a person and hold their attention. I say out loud what others won't. I'm an ass, but I do it so well.
