I am totally in my feelings about my little part of Woodlawn having Black Squirrels.

As anyone who has been following me for any time knows, I hate those garden terrorists. They're simply rats with better PR & a fuzzy tail.

When I saw him I was taken aback. I've seen Black Squirrels on the north shore, but I've never seen them in the city.

I'm sure there are Black Squirrels in the city but I've just never seen them.

So while my first impulse is to pray for a raptor to get him, he probably had to leave his original tree because the neighborhood got gentrified.

So I'll cut him a little slack. But not much.
