Our historically always late scene surely demands a more flexible approach from @BorisJohnson and backing for LGBT+ venues from the Mayor on opening hours or at least opening times? LGBT venues are unique, built up over decades of struggle and in the context of homophobic violence. Gay venues are not like typical 'straight' bars, they are community spaces, community hubs. They have virtually no violence in the venues ever reported and people are responsible.

We need an opportunity to put our case that this has the capacity to really damage LGBT people's social lives. Especially people on their own, the older, HIV+, BAME & disabled. No policy fits all. And the 10pm curfew doesn't fit the LGBT community and our vital social venues.
