Whiteness has always been Moloch, a blood-drinking god that requires the offering of innocent lives in exchange for power—even from among the group that has entered into the covenant with this cannibal god

White supremacy has never involved a truly universal solidarity among whites—that’s merely a lie used to sell it. Some whites have always been cast from our own Mount Taygetus, deemed unfit, too feeble and burdensome to share in the largesse of mass expropriation

The destitute whites, the disabled, the addicts, the mentally ill, the lower-class criminals, all accepted as charnel offerings whose suffering and death is a necessary but tolerable outcome of the institutions that enforce white supremacy

Many of the sacrifices even go willing on that altar, filled with the ecstatic devotion of the zealot, filled with joy, smiling as white supremacy pulls their bodies apart.

Whites are a political community of Abrahams and Isaacs, but where most are eager, not reluctant, not transfixed by guilt, and whose god is not sparing in the end. There is no salvation here.
