For every family God has "saved", please respect that in someone else& #39;s household, God was used as an excuse to abuse and punish. Stop trying to get those people to "accept" God and Christianity. Religious trauma is real. Just leave those people be.

I& #39;m not telling you your God is wrong, or that Christianity is wrong. I& #39;m just asking to please stfu because a LOT of people have serious trauma associated with church and the Christian Biblical God that will follow them for the rest of their lives.

It& #39;s not personal, it& #39;s just real. Not everyone will find peace the same way you do, and you don& #39;t need the Bible to be holy; it& #39;s just one path. Please validate people& #39;s experiences by not denying that they happened, or insisting that the abuse was righteous
