ㅡ a disappointed thread

ENHYPEN stans I'm calling us out bcos some (not all) of us have been going too overboard lately. Our boys are doing amazing already and they haven't even debuted yet so yes I'm also super duper proud and happy. However some of yall are really tarnishing our baby fandom's name.

Why? Wait no, how? Why is your fan ego so high already where you go to the extent to discredit the work of another group and the support of another fandom? And how dare you challenge other fandoms? As an ARMY, I have so much to be proud of because our boys have done so much for

the world and our achievements are literally, OUT of this world. As an EN- stan, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed right now. It hasn't even been a week since the group was ANNOUNCED and already some of yall are up on a high horse.

Why are you being so toxic already. And yes we are being toxic, even if you choose to ignore it. Yes, the ENHYPEN members' potential is so great that we all know how amazing they will do in the future, but even then I don't want anyone to discredit anybody else.

You need to understand that although some people succeed and some people thrive, hard work is still hard work and nobody has any right to take that away. And this whole comparison thing like, stop. Each group is individual and has something different to offer.

I love K-Pop for it's diversity and that's what each group offers. I've seen many people compare us to other groups too and I think we really should stop.

ENHYPEN will make their mark in the K-Pop world in their own unique way and we will all support them with all our love WITHOUT degrading anybody else. They are not the next BTS, they are not the next TXT, they are not the next anyone. They are ENHYPEN.

So please, stop pestering other fandoms and groups just because you're proud. I'm sorry I'm just so mad right now like is it really that hard for you to be nice?? Like are you really that cruel to go ahead and degrade others just to boost your faves??

I've never understood how or why people can so easily hate someone who hasn't done anything to them. The way you talk about idols, not just your own but others, says a lot about how you are as a person in real life. Idols are people too, did you forget?

I've been feeling a bit disappointed in our fandom this week already w the rise of ot1/6 stans but I think today's JK situation really was my last straw. Like I understand many people didn't know about it, and many did apologise and move on so I am grateful for that much atleast.

I'm fortunate that my moots don't encourage this behaviour but I still see the rude tweets, so I really think this had to be addressed.

I don't want to associate myself with such people so I'm literally blocking every problematic person I see. Seriously, you can't complain about how you wish the world was a better place if you don't be a nice person yourself.

Our fandom is actually rlly wonderful and warm. Genuinely, we are very mature n handle obstacles well n ik many of my moots can agree with me on this one because we've been here since the beginning, so u could imagine how shocking it was to see such a decline in our behavior.

We're on the cusp of going at war w some fandoms right now n I absolutely dont want that bcos not only is that a fanwar, it wont be pleasant for these artists nor to the fans, whose mental health will be at risk just bcos a small group of toxic fans couldn't just sHuSh.

It's not too late though, we can still be a better fandom. Let's continue to be the respectful, mature, supportive and warm fandom. We should aspire to be a fandom that the boys will be proud of, so let's fulfil that aspiration
