thread of the anime's I'm watching/finished/waiting to be released!!
The Promised Neverland
i actually watched this weekly as it was released and i never do that, its... so good. amazing story, kept me watching, and the s2 release date is in 2021 now but im super excited for whats next
Black Butler
one of the first anime's that really got me into it. dark and funny, kinda hits all the points you want it to. slightly problematic, but yknow. finished it, and i keep going back to rewatch it for the familiar characters i love
Bleach
amazing. classic. kinda like a right of passage into anime. I would rank this in the category of like bigger names that you should definitely know like dragon ball, naruto, one piece etc. it's definitely worth a rewatch, but not all the time
Naruto
duh. long as shit, lots of filler, but good when youre in the real storyline. Characters are written well (one pink haired exception), and Kakashi is everything I've ever wanted to be. I keep getting like 120 episodes deep and giving up. I want to finish one day.
Ouran Highschool Host Club
one of my fucking favorites in high school. sorta problematic. definitely outdated which contributes to that. really funny, sweet storyline, and really easy to keep track of. theme song slaps. kiss kiss fall in love ♡
Fruits Basket
pretty!!! boys!!! theyre literally just pretty. idk. Tohru is the perfect sad backstory thrown into a loving setting character and i LOVE everything about Kyo and Yuki. Started watching this when it was ugly and I was like 11. the reboot is amazing.
Cardcaptor Sakura
the first anime I had ever watched, I was like 8. my mom wouldnt let me finish it because "anime is sexual" but its literally about like a 6 year old whos magical. I just realized it was on Netflix so i'm gonna watch it all the way
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out
literally saw discourse ab this on twitter so i looked it up, and i could NOT stop watching it. I love slice of life animes. this one is cute. obviously her t*ts are a plot point. still cute.
Kakegurui
what the fuck Netflix. Every anime cliche you can think of with the exception of super powers is present here. Very sexualized. Definitely not one to watch with family. still pretty good. if you say you watch for the plot im pretty sure youre lying. finished it.
Hellsing
A literal masterpiece. Dark, fucked up, vampires, monsters, everything you want in something like this. I don't remember if I finished this because its been years since I've seen it, but I loved every bit. Might go back and rewatch it.
forgot i had this thread. Haikyu is a lot better than i thought it would be. the characters are all likeable in their own ways so far. nishinoya is babie. thats it.
