In 2018, Lil Pump signed a deal with Warner Records. According to TMZ, that deal gave Pump an $8M advance for multiple projects over a 7-year term. According to the artist, it was for only 1 album (Harverd Dropout). Either way, I can confirm Pump is no longer signed to Warner.
If the deal was, in fact, for only 1 album, and Pump received a lump sum advance of $8M, it’s highly unlikely he has already recouped, and because he only released 1 album with the label, he will have limited cross-collateralization opportunities. https://djbooth.net/features/2020-07-30-kreayshawn-contracts-recoupments-record-labels">https://djbooth.net/features/...
‘Harverd Dropout’ debuted w/ 48k album-equivalent units. It has since been certified Gold. Pump’s 2 biggest singles are “Gucci Gang” (5x Plat) & “I Love It” w/ Kanye (2x Plat), but the former was released before his renegotiated Warner deal, the latter released on G.O.O.D Music.
Of course, Lil Pump won& #39;t have to return or pay back a dime of that $8M advance. For his sake, I hope he hasn& #39;t burned through all that cash.

Pump is currently releasing music independently through global distribution company Vydia.
