1. For all that is holy, please don't start your demo with a list of what's coming up
2. Don't tell me how long you're "with me through til" and before "XXXX" takes over.

3. Don't cut it so tightly that I can't work out what is happening.
4. Don't say this song needs no introduction (and then fully introduce it).
5. If you're reading station stuff, ad-lib around it and personalise it.
6. Best material always should come first!

People say "thank you for joining me". I haven't joined you, I was here listening before you were here. I'm continuing to invite you into my home/car etc. Only the best hosts would have people switch-on for their show & they're the ones who would never say this
