BEING A BLACK WOMAN IN SPORTS...
•Just because she’s not smiling in your face doesn’t mean she has a attitude.

•Just because she comes from a different upbringing than her teammates doesn’t mean she can take the constant belittling and cuss outs.

Should I keep going⁉️ #AThread
•When she expresses how she feels she shouldn’t be put in the category as always angry with attitude, better yet a angry black woman

• Just because she has thicker skin and can take criticism, she shouldn’t be the example of every harsh treatment all the time.

Want more⁉️⬇️
•If she claims that something is bothering her don’t belittle it as if nothing is wrong and she’s faking it.

•Don’t try to use her outside life or what you may think it is as a reason to why she’s not focus.

⬇️⬇️⬇️
•Just because her hair doesn’t look a certain way as you prefer it to look doesn’t mean to go get a whole glam squad for picture day or ask others to talk with her about her hair

•Just because she doesn’t understand well doesn’t mean she’s a dumb athlete!
•Don’t asked for them to speak up but then considered them loud, obnoxious, and ghetto.

I’m pretty sure the list goes on and on about how black women are treated in sports but I’m just here letting everyone know this what we go through. How can we start to change it❓
