I used to scoff at people who just post pictures and videos of animals being adorable. Now I realize it is the only sane way to post.

Otherwise, you will inevitably devolve into despair, believing the world is without any good and is irredeemable.

I am not anti-politics so much as I am against becoming so obsessed with it that you lose the big picture, and come to view everything as a grand war, rather than enjoying the good of life while still fighting the bad.

You see the people who have fallen into this, they rage constantly “It’s all political!”.

True, perhaps. Maybe true. But to live fully embracing that? You will never know peace. For the world will never be perfect.
