reasons why bakugou katsuki is not going to die: a thread

1. the title of the chapter; bakugou katsuki: rising. take special note of RISING.

i believe it’s referring to many things, one being a sort of moral awakening. in 284 we tremendous character development when he’s talking about his history with izuku. simply, horikoshi’s not gonna kill off bakugou after this. BUT there’s more

2. “before he could think”. it says that bakugou moved before he could think, KEEP IN MIND he moved to protect izuku, which again proves character development (but not the point of this point). in bnha it’s said a lot that the mark of a true hero is moving-

-before one could think. woah look at what bakugou did LOL

3. “life flashed before his eyes”. when i looked at those panels, yes, it was his life ofc, but SPECIFICALLY moments with izuku/heros/true heros; flowing into moral/hero awakening

conclusion. bakugou katsuki: rising refers to his awakening as a “true” hero, a tremendous character development. horikoshi will not kill him off after this (at least not in this arc)
