The novel, which I read, embodies every racist trope imaginable. Lieberman continues to defend "Lucius" as an anti-racist book. This fact alone - that Lieberman believes such an egregiously racist book is anti-racist- is disqualifying. He must drop out of the race. 2/4 #OwnVoices
Here's the kicker: Lieberman's candidacy could have enormous ramifications. It could keep Democratic candidate and social justice advocate Reverend Raphael Warnock, the front runner among Democrats, from qualifying for the Jan. 5 runoff. 3/4
