I'll personally never shop at @FoodWarehouse or @IcelandFoods again. They dismissed my angel from her job today because because she served herself for a packet of @mayflowercurry curry powder. She has autism and was afraid she would miss her train again. 1/5

Last time she missed her train she had to wait for an hour by herself because of reduced train service due to #COVID19. Shame on you @FoodWarehouse for leaving her in suspense for 4 weeks while you 'conducted your investigation' and 'made your decision'. 2/5

#ShameOnYou for telling her that this was all confidential and hadn't to be discussed until eventually her anxiety got the better of her and she broke down and told me. You left my partner in the loneliest place in the world for something which is 'against company policy'... 3/5

You dismissed someone with a developmental disorder for a silly mistake, made in panic, left her 4 weeks to stew in her anxiety and then gave 'gross misconduct' as her reason for dismissal. @FoodWarehouse hate the disabled. 4/5

@icelandrichard: wish I'd have known you were on @thismorning beforehand, I'd have tweeted to ask if you'd seen this thread at all. I know, from working various customer service roles, that other supermarkets (especially their socials) may have taken the situation more seriously.
