Sources inside Westminster have allegedly been briefed that UK Gov intends to roll structural funds into BEIS budgets and - confirming many fears of Welsh Gov, Plaid Cymru etc - the only funds coming to Wales will be the Barnett consequentials of extra BEIS spend. 2/4

We, of course, already know that UK Gov wishes to re-acquire rights to overrule the devolveds in economic development & project its own priorities over Wales/Sco/NI.

Another case where Welsh Ministers have no legal basis for challenge and no substantial opposition in WM 3/4

So what can be done? Nothing.
