What is your purpose?

As a human—to love and glorify God: agápe

As a male or female—to love the opposite sex in marriage and reproduce if possible: éros

As an individual—to freely, uniquely and creatively cultivate life and to love others as God has loved you: philía

The problem with our society is we don’t know our purpose as designed by God and therefore have no sense of our true identity as human beings, as men and women, and as unique individuals. Love of others is not the goal—only love of self, thus perverting all relationships.

This idolatry of self has resulted in humanity’s rejection and hatred of God, perversion of male and female sexual design creating hatred of the family, and exaltation of subjective individuality to god-like autonomous status, resulting in hatred of others.
