Trickle-down theory of social change is when you believe that something that worked for an elite group will percolate down to other groups. Maybe so, but sometimes there are contradictions in social change that may make someone's liberation the cause of someone else's chains.
Related but similarly vaguely (sorry), I feel like any movement or theory that does not seek to liberate *everyone* from oppressive systems will fail. An oppression-free world would be better for *everyone*, including identities that are current oppressors.
