Look, here are some things I think non-Asains have to consider: 1)You would have to move to Korea and deal with the people and culture there. 2)You have to learn the culture and respect it to the degree any other Korean would, because naturally more eyes are on you...1/? https://twitter.com/dreamyminhee/status/1308832705983983617
3)You have to go through the vigorous training process for YEARS before actually debuting. 4)You are going to have to deal with the racism and stereotypes. 5)The hate comments on the skin and body 6)Your going to have to take it because idols aren't allowed to hit back...
AND because more eyes are on you, one slip up that hurts their fragile pride could send you packing or severely hate on. I mean take how others were treated when calling out Koreans, they were told to leave. 7)You would not be able to see your family and friends frequently...
EVEN MORE so because they would probably live overseas. 8)Most groups don't make a stable living. You have to prepare to fail, you have to prepare to pay off debt, you have to be prepare to not make a lot of money like the Western music industry artists do and you...
have to prepare to rely on yourself. 9)You have to deal with mistreatment...Companies bound you by contract so it's hard to leave even when mistreated. And you will be, Especially amplified by race. Take for example the former EXO members or the kpop bg tracing...
10)Barely a social life especially in the early years...the dating...the freedoms we enjoy to make mistakes...gone. And if you do, prepare for the exposing. Following up from that: 11) The crazy fans and dispatch who follow 24/7. I just know westerns would have a hard time...
handling the situation like expceted. Not lashing out. 12) Not have open friends with the oppsite gender. Do I need to explain? Now for my biggest points:
1)You can't be the change you want to see. We have SEEN how Koreans react to criticism and change of customs. We can't just walk in there expecting people to follow your lead. As much as we dream to help start that "revolution," I'm a firm believer it has to be someone Korean...
for it to actually be acknowledged and stick.
2) You HAVE to understand and follow Koreans laws. I've seen to many of you who criticize the knetizens who get upset when someone famous breaks a law, not ours, but there's and have something to say. You got shut up and listen.

3) IT DOES NOT MATTER YOUR RACE, WHITE, LATINX, OR BLACK, WE HAVE REPRESENTATION. WE HAVE A PLACE TO FREELY CREATE MUSIC AND HAVE SUPPORT. ALTHOUGH IT'S HARD FOR LATINX AND BLACK ARTISTS, WE HAVE MANY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE TO LOOK UP TO. Now...
Name THREE Asian artists that gets as much love and support in the western music industry as other races? I'm waiting. Now you might understand why I believe Kpop is that platform for them to have the opportunity the rest of us have.
Conclusion: I don't hate the idea of non-asaians in kpop. I'm not against it, but I understand where others come from even as an African American 15 year old girl who has dreamt of being a kpop idol before.
And maybe one day there will be diversity, but first lets focus on getting people to actually SUPPORT and RESPECT kpop in general. Kpop is just making moves and it's not time for us yet, it's just not.
Now. To my fellow black peeps since kpop wants to use our culture and rap so bad, why not just aspire to be a music producer. To EVERYONE why not a choreographer or someone who can be of use in the industry like a makeup artist or a stylist.
If we can't do the real thing why not just infiltrate from the inside
Maybe we can start educating these idols and do what we can to help start some change. Okay, that's all if you have ANY arguments, opinions, or something to add just quote or comment.

Or just let this tweet flop like my usual tweets. I kind of prefer the second option because I'm sensitive and people(kpop stans) scare me sometimes.
Real quick addition: If you want to pursue it, ALL POWER TO YOU. I'll support. Chase your dreams, it will be hard so you'll need it.
