While we tend to look at what is happening as a health crisis, what Israel is going through is more about a crisis of faith and trust.
There is no trust today between the people & the gov’t, between the parties of the coalition, and between the different sectors of society.

Gov’t’s failure is in creating trust. @netanyahu goes to DC for peace deal, ppl think he’s on vacation, @gantzbe goes, ppl don’t know why. @netanyahu pushes for lockdown, ppl assume it’s to stop protests. Haredim say they won’t stop prayers if protests continue & vice versa.
No one is in this battle together. No one in the gov’t takes responsibility. Instead they look for people to blame (e.g. PM’s advisers filming protest & breaking quarantine).
As long as there’s no trust, there’s no real way of winning.
Sadly, it might already be too late.
