For example, drugs like statins are best taken at night before you go to bed as body fats are generates more at night.

Some are best taken on an empty stomach, e.g. entecavir for advanced hepatitis B.

Others are not to be used in pregnancy e.g. doxycycline.

The list goes on.
Most times, doctors & pharmacists give specific instructions as to how a particular medication should be used.

But some patients still ignore or forget to adhere to those instructions making the drug less effective or leading to adverse drug interactions which may be dangerous.
Read about your drug in the inner leaflet especially when you're going to take that drug for a long time.

Most of what's written there is in simple language for you to understand.

Even if you don't want to read everything, check the WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS part!

Very important!
