this random girl who praises her for doing things like eating or just standing there which himiko berates herself for having such a hard time doing and then assumes tenko is just complementing her based on her being cute and not wanting to understand her or complimenting her(2/6)
on what she contributes which is what she actually wants to be validated for. but she doesn’t realize that tenko just thinks everything himiko does is amazing and not just because she thinks she’s cute but because she just genuinely thinks himiko is so cool.she just wants to(3/6)
let himiko know how cool she is but himiko doesn’t understand tenko’s intent, just assumes that tenko doesn’t understand her and writes her off, hanging out w angie instead because angie tells her how using her talent will make her useful for the group, that there’s a way (4/6)
she can contribute, a way that she can prove herself when she doesn’t in reality need to prove anything. then, before tenko dies, she only just realizes that tenko really was making an effort to understand her and then just feels like shit because she completely read her (5/6)
