To comply with the latest set of Covid restrictions our Tap Rules are changing slightly.

Inside:
Single Household Groups.
Please, stop rocking up with three couples and claiming that you're all from the same household, especially when the two at the back are chatting away...

...about how they've not seen each other since lockdown started. We're not stupid and we're not deaf, and you won't be getting inside. There's plenty of covered seating outside.

Table Service Only.
We've allowed folks to come to the bar to see what's on, but I'll be clearing...

...the blackboard. It's all on the website where you order anyway, so please read the list there.

Face Masks When Not At Your Table.
This goes for us too. It may be an inconvience wearing one when you walk to your table, or when you nip to the loo, but we'll be wearing them...

...all the time. So if I can do it, so can you.

Outside.
You must wear a mask if you nip in to use the loo, and when signing in.

Please don't move the chairs around. You've all been really great with this so far, so please keep this up.

In General
We'll have the Test'n'Trace app posters up, please scan them upon arrival.
Whereas only one in a group has to scan them, we'd prefer if everyone did.
We've looked at the app, it's not asking personal details or anything, so please use it.

We do have a fall back for the app, but that involves getting name, phone/email, date and time of visit *and* now the number of people in the group.
Plus it's slower to fill in that just scanning a QR code. So please, just use the app.
