The ship is aware of the imposters aboard. Several people have been killed, but the crew knew they had to get their tasks done.

Deku, the ever so vibrant green crewmate, was the moral support of the entire ship. His bright personality and kindness uplifted the crew whenever they got nervous. He truly was the sun in the vastness of the galaxy.

Unknowingly, his personality had captured the heart of one of the cruelest imposter, Bakugou Katsuki. Without any mercy, he would stab and kill anyone who got in his way. But Deku, fucking Deku, made his heart beat fast for a different reason.

That freckled ray of sunshine made Katsuki want to protect him from everyone else, including the other imposters. So he made the choice, he would protect Deku at all costs.

Just the thought of seeing that smiling face made the blonde delighted.

"Kacchaaaaan~" a squeaky voice calls out to him as Katsuki was finishing up on disposing a body. He quickly cleaned off the blood on his orange suit, and turned to see the shining freckled face.

"The fuck do you want, Deku?" he keeps a stone face, internally blushing.

The green-suited man giggles, "Are you done with your tasks? Want to come to have some lunch?"

Katsuki huffs and nods, happy to spend time with Deku. Before they leave, Katsuki glances back once more at now dead imposter partner, before following Deku.

No one needs to know. Deku is his and anyone who threatens him will die by Katsuki's hands.

One particular day, someone had accused Deku of being the imposter, making him cry. Katsuki consoled the man before going over to the accuser and slowly dismembering his arms and legs-

Making him bleed to death. No one made Deku cry, only he can.

The next incident, was when one of the other imposters onboard snuck up behind the green astronaut but was shot by the blonde in an instant without any hesitation. Thankfully, the freckled man was oblivious.

As the days went by, Deku and Katsuki got impossibly closer. The two would stick by each other like glue. The crewmates noticed there is a lack of deaths and assumed that they had gotten rid of them. They finished their tasks with ease.

Katsuki stuck by Deku the entire time-

Making sure he didn't hurt himself as he was finishing up.

"Fucking Deku, so clumsy," he snorts as the green-haired man struggles in the wires of the electrical room.

"Kacchaaaaan," he whines, "Heeeelp!!"

With a huff, the blonde assists in untangling the bound man from the ropes of wires. Unconsciously, closing the gap between their faces. The blonde realizes how close their faces are turning red and backing up, only to be pulled back down by arms wrapped around his neck.

"Kacchan..." a small whisper breathes in his pink-tinted ears.

Ruby eyes scan the man underneath him. His reddened face protruding his freckles, plush lips, and emerald eyes staring right back at him.

The two stare into each other's eyes, slowly closing the gap before-

Fluttering them closed. Before they knew it, they felt the soft lips on each other. The kiss was short, yet savory. Their lips caressing each other until they broke apart.

Deku looks up, staring into Katsuki with his everso bright smile and whispering the words that Katsuki

Wanted to hear most.

"I love you."

Katsuki's heart beats faster as he looks at the one he's been wanting since he came on the ship. The one who just confessed. He wanted this. He wanted /him/.

And now he does.

"I love you, too..." he whispers.

Leaning in for another kiss.

By the time the crew finished all their tasks, the orange and green duo had already professed there love. It was obvious that they were into each other from the start. It was only a matter of time.

"By the way Kacchan," the green-haired man spoke as they held hands looking off into the distance of space.

Katsuki hums as a response.

"Thank you, for protecting me," he whispers.

Katsuki's eyes widen and he turns to the smaller man who's already looking at him with his dazzling smile.

"I knew it was you, but..." Deku stares at the blonde who looks like he was about to panic, "You're my hero," he says as he leans in for another kiss, making the blonde-

Melt.

Deku always knew. But Katsuki was a blazing being that consumes everyone around him. He captured Deku's heart in the seconds their eyes met. No matter what, the freckled man would do anything to be with Katsuki.
