hey gang, who wants to diagnose and fix this BEX64 Problem Event Name error that happens when i try to launch skyrim

more info: there are no mods currently installed, this is a fresh install of SSE 1.5.97 with no mods installed yet.

suggestions online to disable DEP. i can't do this on a per-app basis with SSE because it's 64 bit, but I could turn off DEP entirely for the whole system with a command line apparently. not sure how risky this is
