Malaysia/8.05PM - Arrived at KLIA. Mmg ghost town habis, so kalau nak makan tu singgah la mitsui ke apa (situ pun tak banyak options pun). Line is kinda long and social distancing kelaut hahaha

Aku tak sure masa time kt checkin counter dia mintak Passenger Locator Form but anyhow I provided it so prolly sblm gi airport ti dah buat and print siap2

I dpt baggage allowance yg generous which is 40+8 (includes cabin baggage sbb they tak kasi bawak naik) sbb pakai agent

For those flying TA: personal item tu they tak check sgt hahaha just keep it to personal limits and make items easily accessible cuz of something I’ll you later in this thread

Malaysia/9.40PM - Terus masuk immigration hall. Speedy process prolly sbb tak ramai. As a fresher, they requested my visa, and offer letter je. Ada cases my friends kena provide more docs but mine went like a breeze.

Malaysia/10.20PM - Ada kemungkinan your international flight akan from the satellite terminal. There, shops are closed and toilets banyak tgh renovate so yeah hahaha

Also they don’t operate the aerotrain time aku so kena naik bas from main

I boarded at 10.20PM. Sgt pack kat gate. Oh and also kena check your luggage lagi sekali kt gate sblm masuk.

Takeoff: 11.40 PM from KUL

Btw, I dpt seats sebelah empty and since tak ramai naik that night they can actually place most passengers in socially distanced settingd.

But expect low for airlines to do soc. dist. so cuz “airline logic” says in the air is a different atmosphere + hepa filters smtin liddat xx

Airline logic meaning for any flight by any airline okay hahaha

Worth mentioning they also give you a hygiene pack that includes hand sanitizer, antiseptic wipes and masks

Also wearing a mask throughout the flight is mandatory even while sleeping so yeah get used to it

If you’re a germophobe like myself do bring hand sanitizer as well. Sanitize after you pegang a surface. Most probably jgn guna toilet cuz you never know who’s using it.

If you are expecting good food on a flight during a pandemic, be prepared to be disappointed hahaha.

My 10hr flight ada two meals, one lepas takeoff and one before landing. Since this pandemic shit, TA stopped giving us hot meals and gave us cold sandwiches as main.

Taste’s a personal choice so depending on your tastebuds but for me I okay je except for that one side dish that tastes masam nak mampos. I’m fond of masam food but the masamness is beyond comprehension hahahaha.

Overall, TA’s hospitality is good. Plenty of entertainment on their onboard screens, kind and helpful flight attendants...

Turkey/5.21AM - Istanbul aku datang! Landed at their new Istanbul Airport. Lawa mmg takleh cite ah hahaha cuz it’s new.

Once landed yall need to clear baggage checks. At this point your electronics (laptop esp.) will need to be taken out and be checked throughly.

The next two hours was me going to solat at their masjid (surau actually but tbh the term surau is a nusantara concept), cari wifi booth, and walk to their gates.

The airport huge nak mampus so most of the time is taken to walk and walk to settle stuff.

Wifi kt IST kinda canggih but kedekut. You need to scan your passport electronic section (the keras, plastic part of the passport) kt machine dia and it’ll generate a passport for you to log in and give you 60mins of free WiFi

Turkey/6.20AM - Masuk boarding gate. Sini they don’t check much except confirming your intention to enter the UK.

At the gate, kau akan dirandomly check and you need to geladahkan a lot of stuff in your bag to be checked. do take note of this!

Takeoff: 7.53AM from IST

This case, diorg just pakai a narrowbody and the seats were filled to the brim. Luckily everyone wore masks so yeah no issues abt that but again airline logic.

Nothing to special sbb just 4hrs flight but again they served a cold sandwich hahaha.

Note to those flying into MAN, weather is often cloudy (general la manchester camtu) so expect a turbulent and bumpy landing experience.

UK/9.30AM - Arrived at MAN. Keluar aircraft tu terus rasa sejuk lain macam so do be prepared pakai some layers beforehand but don’t go overboard hahaha.
